Regina Barrella graduated from the top-15-ranked Temple University hospitality program with a BS in Tourism and Hospitality Management. During the course of her education, she was fortunate enough to complete two notable internships: The Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau gave her great insight into the workings of membership organizations and large-scale city events, while her time at Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia gave her a taste for top-notch execution and delivering an unbelievable experience to clients .

 

Over the last two decades, Regina has gained experience in the non-profit sector, hotel, and corporate event environments. She has personally planned and managed nearly 200 events across the country, from meetings, conferences, tradeshows, social events, and fundraising, to golf tournaments and festivals.

 

Regina finds her inspiration for stand-out event planning in everything from films, to travel, to her favorite theme park—Walt Disney World (which goes unmatched for minute detail and positive guest experiences).  In fact, Regina aims to make the Calico Events planning experience as unique and special as each of her clients, with a personal approach and specific focus on service and details.  She enjoys supporting her clients through each phase of the event process and prides herself in taking care of everything needed to bring an event to life!

Now based in South Florida, Regina hasn’t forgotten her Philadelphia roots; she’s a Philly sports fan and refuses to drop some of her Philly-isms like pronouncing “water” as “wooder”.
